Ductile Studios

Customized Front End Web Development

Brian Giometti - Owner/Founder

Ductile Studios is a boutique front-end/web development agency founded and operated by Brian Giometti. Ductile Studios was formed out of an innate need to create, built on the foundation that relationships are the key to success. In an industry that is riddled with cookie-cutter templates and solutions that always seem to fall short, especially in the Small Business arena, Brian aims to build lasting relationships with clients while delivering a web development experience tailored to their needs in a manner that is usually only found on larger projects.

Brian started his career as a degreed and licensed Professional Engineer, with an emphasis on structural design and construction. Technology has always been a passion, and in 2020 he made the switch to focus on software development full-time.

The name Ductile Studios comes from the term “ductility”, which is an engineering term used to describe the physical property of materials that are flexible enough to deform under stress, but not fracture; bend but not break. Whereas brittle materials will shatter, a ductile material will stretch, bend, or deform as needed, most times returning to its original shape. This definition is an homage to his history as well as a key principle in operating this next endeavor. Always being flexible and able to adapt to a client’s needs has enabled Brian to deliver exactly what each client is looking for.

What brought us to this valley

While not an Aspen, or even Colorado resident (yet!) Brian and his wife Lindsay set out on an adventure in 2019 that that ultimately lead them to fall in love with Colorado. They left their jobs, rented their house in Chicago, and moved into their RV full time. While the trip was only planned to be 12 months, COVID ended up de-railing their planned return to Chicago. The result was 28 months of travel across 38 states covering over 55,000 miles.

During that time Brian and Lindsay fell in love with Colorado, and spend a good portion of those 28 months in the mountains. They’re currently shopping for Colorado mountain property and hope to be residents in the not-too-distant future.
