Mattie's love for the Roaring Fork Valley began at a young age, thanks to her parents' frequent visits to the picturesque town of Aspen, Colorado, which set the stage for her future endeavors. Mattie's parents, both entrepreneurs, played a pivotal role in shaping her character. They instilled in her the values of a great work ethic, a competitive spirit, and the importance of selflessly catering to others.

Mattie's educational journey took her to Samford University, where she pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship. Not only was she a dedicated student, but she also excelled as Captain of the Samford Women’s Basketball Team and as an International Equestrian Show Jumper. Upon completing her education, Mattie was determined to fulfill her dream of living in the mountains and embarking on her professional career. Eager to challenge herself, she quickly obtained her real estate license and joined The Scott Bayens Team, just a week after her arrival to the Roaring Fork Valley. Her passion for real estate, a legacy from her father's involvement in the field, found a new outlet. Mattie's competitive spirit, honed through years of sports, became an asset in her real estate career. Attention to detail, persistence, and a commitment to serving her clients define her approach.

Her pursuit of health and wellbeing is a lifelong endeavor, and she actively engages in various recreational activities that the valley provides, including being a Volunteer Coach for the Aspen High School Women's Basketball Team. Mattie is not only a sports enthusiast but also a passionate animal lover and dog mom. She cherishes moments spent with friends and family and has a love for traveling.
