What brought us to this valley

I was born in Aspen in 1967 and raised on wild spaces and plenty of independence by my parents, KNCB & Betty Moore. I grew up riding horses all over on McLain Flats, attended Aspen Country Day, the Community School, and the middle school before going back east to prep school and west to college. My husband Kearns and I built a straw bale home in Marble, where we skied and biked in the high country for 5 years before moving to Carbondale in 2003 to raise our daughters. We are blessed with wonderful family and friends, and a deep connection to the mountains and river valleys from Aspen to Marble.
